The following recommendations are for informational purposes only and are not intended as a substitute for professional installation advice or services. By using these guidelines, the installer agrees that Royal Peak Lighting is not liable for any outcomes related to the installation process. Installers are strongly advised to consult with licensed electricians or other qualified professionals for all electrical work and ensure compliance with local codes.​

3. Terms and Conditions of Sale​:

The purchaser/installer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, building codes, and regulations related to the installation and use of Royal Peak Lighting products. Royal Peak Lighting assumes no responsibility for regulatory compliance during or after installation. Purchasers/installers must verify the suitability of the product for their specific application, including environmental factors and operational conditions.​

4. Product Warranty Disclaimer​:

This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not extend to damages caused by improper installation, mishandling, environmental exposure, or misuse. Failure to follow the provided installation guidelines, improper wiring, or use of non-compatible components voids all warranties and releases Royal Peak Lighting from any liability. Examples of voiding actions include but are not limited to:

• Improper mounting or support that results in structural failure.
• Using the product in applications exceeding its rated capacities.
• Altering or modifying the product in any way.
• Screws damaging wires
• Unsafe or Dangerous Installation Methods

5. Indemnification Clause​:

The purchaser or installer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Royal Peak Lighting from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from improper installation, misuse, or negligence. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, regulatory fines, or litigation costs. The purchaser/installer also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Royal Peak Lighting from any claims, damages, penalties, or legal actions arising from their failure to comply with applicable laws, codes, or regulations related to the installation or use of the products.​

6. Regulatory Compliance Responsibility:

​Royal Peak Lighting does not provide legal or regulatory guidance. Purchasers and installers must consult with appropriate local authorities or legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and codes. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser/installer to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including obtaining necessary permits, inspections, and adherence to local building codes. This includes but is not limited to:

• Verifying electrical connections and systems are up to code.
• Ensuring products are installed in environments suitable for their design and rating.
• Obtaining certifications or approvals as required by local jurisdictions.

7. Independence of Third-Party Installers​:

Any recommended installers operate independently, and Royal Peak Lighting assumes no responsibility for their services. Royal Peak Lighting does not provide or endorse any specific installation services. Customers engaging third-party installers do so at their own risk, and all agreements between customers and third-party installers are separate from Royal Peak Lighting.​

8. Business Liability Insurance​:

Royal Peak Lighting maintains product liability coverage for manufacturing defects. However, all liabilities related to installation, misuse, or third-party errors are excluded unless directly caused by the product’s defect. Installers are required to carry their own liability insurance and provide proof of coverage upon request.​

9. Acknowledgment of Terms​:

By purchasing and installing Royal Peak Lighting products, the purchaser/installer acknowledges and agrees to these terms. These terms are binding and supersede any verbal agreements or representations made by any parties, except where explicitly stated in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Royal Peak Lighting.
